Region of Dale

	Ered Mithrin Also known as the Grey Mountains, a stretch that goes out from the tip of the Misty Mountains to far north of the region of Dale. Moderator: Miraowyn	0	0
	Iron Hills The tall hills rising east of the region of Dale, home to the folk of Durin. It has also served as a sturdy stronghold for the Dwarves for many years. Moderator: Miraowyn	0	0
	Erebor Also known as The Lonley Mountain. Once the cheif halls of Durin's folk, it was overrun by the dragon Smaug in the late Third Age. Smaug was slain by the heir of Dale, and the mountain was returned to it's rightful Dwarven inhabitants, and is now one of the most prosperous dwarf colonies. 	Dale Town of men, built on the southern slopes of Erebor. It was destroyed with the coming of Smaug to the mountain, but restored with it's proper ruler after the Battle of Five Armies. While it suffered a breif period of capture by Sauron during the War of the Ring, it was afterwards freed and now prospers as a close ally to both the Men of Esgaraoth and the Dwarves of Erebor. 	Esgaroth Also known as Lake Town. It is built upon polls and platforms in the shallows of Long Lake itself, home to fisherman and merchants. The City was at one point attacked by the dragon Smaug, but the dragon was slain and it was rebuilt with the help of the Dwarves of Erebor and Men of Dale.
