Town of men, built on the southern slopes of Erebor. It was destroyed with the coming of Smaug to the mountain, but restored with it's proper ruler after the Battle of Five Armies. While it suffered a breif period of capture by Sauron during the War of the Ring, it was afterwards freed and now prospers as a close ally to both the Men of Esgaraoth and the Dwarves of Erebor.

Also known as Lake Town. It is built upon polls and platforms in the shallows of Long Lake itself, home to fisherman and merchants. The City was at one point attacked by the dragon Smaug, but the dragon was slain and it was rebuilt with the help of the Dwarves of Erebor and Men of Dale. It is now once again a prosperous settlement of Men.
